The former head coach of our U-21 national team shared his thoughts on the game that brought the Masazir representative to "Qarabağ" in the final of the national cup:
"Qarabağ's desire to win the second title of the season and Sabah's last chance to go to the European Cups increased the intrigue. We saw missed and scored penalties. It is difficult to fight for 120 minutes at the end of the season. Nevertheless, we saw the fight until the last seconds in the final. "Sabah" showed character. The goal scored in 90+6 gave "Sabah" hope that they would score the winning goal in extra time. The final game is difficult for the referees. There was a fight for every inch of the field. The fullness of the stands makes the job even more responsible. It is impossible not to make mistakes in refereeing. Therefore, it would not be right for me to say anything about it."
It should be noted that "Sabah", who won against "Qarabağ" in the decisive match of the Azerbaijan Cup, won the first title in its history and also qualified for the Europa League.
