- How is the adaptation and preparation process going in the new team?
- Yes, the adaptation process is going fast. I like everything, the training camp is going great.
- What was the main factor influencing your move to "Sumgayit": Did other offers not satisfy you, or did another factor play a role?
- Honestly, I had other offers as well. But I chose "Sumgayit". I met with the club president Riad Rafiyev and head coach Sasha Ilic. We had a good conversation, we saw that our interests coincide. That's why I'm very happy to be in this team.
- You have previously played in European Cups with "Zira" and "Qarabag". Now you will only compete in the Premier League. Will this motivate you?
- I couldn't fully show the game I wanted and could show before. That's why I have a lot of motivation. As a football player, I want to fully open my performance and help my team more with this.
- What are Sumgayit's goals for the new season?
- The goal is to get into the European Cup zone. We will work for this success, and although the competition for high places is great, we will do our best for it.
- How do you assess your physical form and preparation for the season?
- My personal goals are to reach my best form, perform consistently and show good, stable results. As I said before, I want to maximize my performance. I think my form is good. Because I have had training camps with both "Qarabag" and "Sumgayit". But there must be a goal to constantly improve.
- Your former team "Zira" stopped the fight early in the Conference League. Did you watch the games with "Hajduk", what are your impressions?
- Of course, I watched it. There is no need to say much here. "Hajduk" is a high-level team, it was not easy to pass them. In addition, "Zira" had many injured players. I think this is also an important factor. But such cases happen. Everyone loves to compete in European Cups, because there is great competition there. This time, they just didn't get lucky. I can only wish you success. "Zira" is a good team with great potential.
- You also participated in the training camp in Austria with "Qarabag". What did this training camp give you in terms of experience?
