"Roma" is starting the transfer process for striker Donyell Malen.
Idman.Biz reports that the club is ready to activate the option to transfer the player. Fabrizio Romano reported on social media that "Aston Villa" will receive 25 million euros in addition to the 2 million euros already paid for the loan.
The mandatory transfer clause will take effect if "Roma" qualifies for the Champions League or Europa League and Malen plays 50% of the team's matches by June. In addition, "Aston Villa" will receive a 10% share of the player's future resale.
Donyell Malen has already participated in five matches for "Roma" and scored five goals. The team is in fourth place in the Serie A standings with 47 points after 25 games.
