The name of the second team to qualify for the Italian Serie A has been clarified. Sport24.az reports that after "Sassuolo", "Pisa" also gained the right to play in the elite league.
The team led by Filippo Inzaghi lost to "Bari" 0:1 away in the 36th round of Serie B. However, this defeat did not prevent "Pisa" from being promoted to Serie A. Their closest follower, "Spezia", also lost in this round. With 2 rounds left until the end of the season, "Pisa" is 9 points ahead of "Spezia".
It should be noted that "Pisa" last participated in the Italian Serie A in the 1990/1991 season.
