"As in every pre-season, certain repair and restoration works have been carried out to prepare the stadium for the games." These words were said by Suleyman Taghiyev, the press officer of the "Turan Tovuz" club, in his statement to Sport24.az.
The club official shared his views on the work done at the Tovuz city stadium:
"The worn-out parts of the asphalt layer and all advertising shields have been renewed. However, according to UEFA requirements, certain works still need to be done. This is also included in our plan. We do all the work in stages. It is not possible to do everything at the same time. We eliminate the shortcomings according to the notes made by UEFA."
It should be noted that the Tovuz stadium was closed for repairs in the summer due to the replacement of the artificial turf with natural grass. The works have already been completed and "Turan Tovuz" will hold the match with "Shamakhi", which will take place within the framework of the 10th round of the Premier League, on November 2 within the "native walls".
