"Reims" fans raided the club's base with weapons after a 2-2 draw with "Laval" in the French second league. Sport24.az reports that the French club's press service has released information about this:
"On Thursday, individuals claiming to be members of the Ultram group, some wearing balaclavas and carrying homemade weapons, entered our Raymond Kopa residence while waiting for the team to return from the match with Laval. Such actions are unacceptable and have deeply shaken the entire club.
For several months, we have witnessed an increase in violent and inappropriate behavior, despite the club's willingness to engage in dialogue. The arrival of law enforcement was necessary to prevent the situation from getting out of control. We want to protect our staff, our players, and our football."
It should be noted that "Reims" was relegated from League 1 at the end of last season and is in fifth place in the second division after 30 games.
