Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior remains a primary transfer target for Saudi Arabian clubs.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, representatives of Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, which owns all the top local clubs, are ready to make an unprecedented offer.
They are reportedly prepared to pay Real Madrid $350 million for Vinicius's transfer. If the deal goes through, it would make him the most expensive player in football history, surpassing Neymar's current record ($222 million, transfer to PSG in 2017).
Furthermore, they are ready to offer Vinicius a 5-year contract in which he could earn $1 billion. This would make the Brazilian the highest-paid footballer in history.
Last season, Vinicius played 58 games for Real Madrid, scoring 22 goals and providing 19 assists, which confirms his high value in the football market.
