Problems have arisen in the construction of the residence that English forward Marcus Rashford, who plays for Barcelona on loan from Manchester United, wants to build in Cheshire County (located in the northwest of England - ed.).
Idman.Biz reports with reference to "The Sun" that the 27-year-old footballer may suffer losses of up to 15 million pounds due to the suspension of the project's construction and a sharp increase in costs.
It is noted in the information that M. Rashford purchased a plot of land worth 2.25 million pounds for the project, which he started in 2020. He planned to build a luxury villa with a swimming pool, gym and additional guest apartments.
However, according to reports, construction work on the site of the former golf club has been suspended several times due to financial disputes. The footballer instructed his financial team to investigate why the project was progressing so slowly and to determine the completion date of the construction.
According to residents, the construction site is often flooded, and the equipment almost never leaves the area. Locals expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that grass covers the area and the soil is eroding.
Nevertheless, representatives of "Noble Projects", the company responsible for the construction, stated that there were no quality problems and that they were continuing to implement the project.
