"The contracts of all the players in the team had expired. However, no new agreement was signed with anyone. This is normal in football. What is abnormal is where the club will find players from now on? All those who are available have signed contracts with other clubs." These words were said by Rahid Amirguliyev, the captain of "Shahdag Qusar", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced football player expressed his attitude to the termination of contracts with all the players of "Shahdag Qusar", who became the champion in the Second League last year:
"We had a conversation with the club management about this. We met with the management as soon as we became the champion in the Second League. During the conversation, we stated that if we want to compete for the top places in the First League, we must keep some players in the camp. Unfortunately, no response came from the management. What will happen after this? I have no information about this. I would very much like "Shahdag Qusar" to compete for the top places in the First League as well. However, the start of the championship is near, and I don't know anything. It is not known what will happen to "Shahdag Qusar". I wanted to continue my career in "Shahdag Qusar". I am ready to help the team as much as I can. I have offers from other clubs, but I am still waiting for a response from the "Shahdag Qusar" management."
It should be noted that "Shahdag Qusar" won a ticket to the First League by becoming the champion in the Second League last season.
