Midfielder Raheem Sterling shared a message on social media after terminating his contract with Chelsea.
Idman.Biz reports that the club confirmed today that the 31-year-old footballer's contract was terminated by mutual agreement. Sterling did not play a single game this season, training separately from the main team.
"Focus on the future. God is great" - the player said in his post.
According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins on the X social media platform, Raheem Sterling has attracted the interest of Napoli. Napoli has already contacted the player's representatives, but other clubs are also interested in signing him.
Sterling signed with Chelsea in the summer of 2022. Last season he played on loan at Arsenal. Chelsea had previously announced on its official website that the midfielder's contract had been terminated.
