Brazilian footballer Rafael Utzig wants to leave the "Zira" club. Sport24.az reports that the head coach of the Baku representative, Rashad Sadigov, announced this on the "Our Football" program broadcast on "CBC Sport".
He also reminded that the 28-year-old striker's contract with the "eagles" is still valid.
"He wants novelty in his career. He has done great things for our team. I have respect and love for him. We spoke openly. I said that I would not consider him in my future plans. I just told him that he should negotiate with the management. He is expected to leave the team. He was put on transfer after his request. If his heart and mind are not with us, I don't want to continue my journey with that person. I like him. He is a characterful and good player. But if he has finished "Zira" in his mind, I don't want to continue with him."
It should be noted that Rafael Utzig moved to "Zira" in the summer of 2024.
