The German Football Association (DFB) has imposed fines totaling more than 12 million euros on clubs playing in the country's top three leagues for the unethical behavior of fans in the 2024/25 season.
Idman.Biz reports, citing Kicker, that Frankfurt's Eintracht, the Champions League opponent of Aghdam's Qarabag club, is also among the leaders in terms of the amount of fines.
The "Eagles" are in second place in terms of the total amount of fines. The Frankfurt club was fined more than 764 thousand euros due to the behavior of fans.
"Köln", which played in II Bundesliga last season, is at the top of the anti-rating. The club was fined more than 900 thousand euros. "Hamburg" is in third place with a fine of 623.5 thousand euros.
In total, disciplinary measures have been applied to 56 German clubs.
It should be noted that "Qarabag" and "Ayntraxt" will face each other in Baku on January 21 as part of the main stage of the Champions League. The Frankfurt club will hold this match without fan support. UEFA punished "Ayntraxt" for the behavior of fans in the VI round of the Champions League main stage against "Barcelona" (1:2).
