Teams from "Qarabagh"'s lower age groups will participate in several international tournaments.
Aftandil Hajiyev, the coordinator of the Aghdam representative's academy, told "Report" about this.
The expert said that the U-10 team will go to Austria in a few days:
"We will perform in the tournament in this country with two teams - "Qarabagh-1" and "Qarabagh-2". Our goal is for these football players to play more. We will be in Vienna until June 23."
A. Hajiyev noted that U-17 will participate in one of the strongest tournaments in Sweden:
"The U-17 team will go to Sweden in July. This is almost the number one tournament in the world. The "Gothia Cup" will be organized in Gothenburg. Next season, the tournaments will start in August. We will most likely send football players born in 2011 to Kazakhstan. There will be a good tournament there. We will create conditions for U-12 to participate in the tournament organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Guba. It should be a very high-quality competition. As for our goals in the tournaments, of course, winning the championship is good. But the main goal is for football players to become professional and develop quickly. Almost all of our teams from all age groups won medals in the Azerbaijani championships. This is also a motivation for the children. The main goal is to prepare them for professional football."
He also commented on the club's U-13 team winning the international tournament held in Bulgaria:
"U-13 was a new team. This year, they also showed themselves well in terms of the game in the national championship. For this reason, we decided to send the team to the tournament. "Ludogorets", "Levski", "Botev", "Burgas" and other famous Bulgarian clubs participated in the tournament. The children gained good experience. They had one defeat and finished the group in second place. Then they faced "Levski" in the semi-finals. They drew with this opponent (0:0) and qualified for the final in the penalty shootout. The "Burgas" club they faced in the final was one of the selected teams in the other group. Overall, the tournament was well organized."
It should be noted that "Qarabagh"'s team of football players under 13 years old became the winner of the "Sozopol Cup 2025" tournament held in Bulgaria.
