Azerbaijani football champion "Qarabağ" held a meeting with sports journalists dedicated to the results of the season.

Then, the memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty of Azerbaijan and the late honorary president of the club, Abdulbari Gozel, who passed away some time ago, was commemorated with a minute of silence.
The president of "Qarabağ", Tahir Gozel, spoke at the event. He congratulated the Azerbaijani people on May 28 - Independence Day. Then, Tahir Gozel congratulated the journalists on the upcoming 150th anniversary of the National Press and wished them success.
Evaluating the 2024/25 season, the president of the club considered the ending season successful: "Our team, which continues its success in Europe, pleased its fans this season as well. The team, which advanced to the play-off in the Champions League, competed in the main stage of the Europa League. By rising to the main stage of continental tournaments for the 11th time in a row, it tried to represent and glorify the name of Karabakh with dignity. "Qarabağ" has always carried a different mission. This name makes us more responsible both on and off the field, and forces us to fight with dignity in all the competitions we participate in."
Speaking about winning the 4th consecutive and 12th overall championship in the Premier League, Tahir Gozel emphasized that the team is waiting for the final game of the Azerbaijan Cup. He stated that he believes in the team as always in the new European Cup season.
The head coach of the Aghdam representative, Qurban Qurbanov, who participated in the event, spoke. The experienced specialist thanked the journalists who covered the championship and cup matches throughout the season. He talked about the competition in the championship and the upcoming goals.
