"Thankfully, we won this match as well." These words were said by "Qarabag" footballer Abbas Huseynov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The 29-year-old wing defender shared his impressions after the 35th round match of the Misli Premier League, in which they defeated "Kapaz" with three unanswered goals:
"We are happy to have won before receiving the championship award. But nothing is over yet, the season continues. We have one match left in the championship after this. Then we will play in the final of the Azerbaijan Cup. I really want us to win both matches. Our goal is to end the season with two cups."
It should be noted that in the final of the Azerbaijan Cup, which will be held on May 31 at the Sumgayit city stadium named after Mehdi Huseynzade, "Qarabag" will face "Sabah".
