A memorandum of understanding on cooperation has been signed between "Qarabağ" Football Club and "Azerkhalcha" OJSC. Sport24.az reports that the document was signed by Tahir Gozel, the president of "Qarabağ" FC, and Emin Mammadov, the chairman of the Board of "Azerkhalcha" OJSC, at the event held in the sales and exhibition hall located in Icherisheher.
According to the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in the preparation, production and sale of limited carpet collections reflecting the brand values of "Qarabağ" FC, Karabakh horses and national ornaments. At the same time, it is planned to bring products to international markets and implement joint projects.
During the speeches, the parties stated that this cooperation will contribute to the development of the art of carpet weaving, the protection of national heritage and the promotion of Karabakh realities at the international level.
The president of "Qarabağ" Football Club, Tahir Gozel, said that the partnership will be successful for both parties: "The signing of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation between "Qarabağ" Football Club and "Azerkhalcha" OJSC is not just a partnership for us, but also a convergence of values, traditions and national identity. I believe that the collections that will emerge as a result of this cooperation will not just be a product, they will be a cultural message that conveys the spirit of Karabakh to the world. It is very important for us that the brand values of "Qarabağ" Football Club are not limited only to stadiums. In this regard, I am fully confident that this path we started with "Azerkhalcha" will be long-term and successful," said Tahir Gozel.
The chairman of "Azerkhalcha" OJSC, Honored Art Worker Emin Mammadov, also said that he was pleased with the establishment of a useful and bilateral cooperation.
"Azerkhalcha" OJSC promotes the history of Karabakh carpet weaving, carpets and culture in general at all events and exhibitions held both domestically and abroad. "Qarabağ Football Club also regularly promotes the name of Karabakh and the realities of this region internationally through football. What "Qarabağ" FK has done for Azerbaijani football directly contributes to the improvement of the level of the local championship, as well as the recognition of Azerbaijani football in the international arena," said Emin Mammadov.
The head coach of "Qarabağ" Football Club, Gurban Gurbanov, especially emphasized the importance of the memorandum signed with "Azerkhalcha" during his speech.
"This cooperation is an important step in terms of preserving and promoting national values. Considering the wide audience of football, such projects will further contribute to the recognition of the name of Karabakh and Azerbaijani culture in a wider geography."
After the memorandum was signed, the parties presented each other with souvenirs.
