Idman.Biz reports that Samuel, who was substituted at halftime in the match against Sporting, suffered an injury to his right knee and anterior cruciate ligament.
The Dragons' statement said that the Spanish player will undergo a re-examination by the Porto medical team in the coming days.
Samuel's contract with Porto runs until the summer of 2029. The Spanish player has scored 20 goals and provided one assist in 32 matches this season. Porto currently tops the Primeira Liga standings.
