The 27-year-old Ukrainian football player was recently called up to the Ukrainian army, which is at war with Russia, by employees of the Military Commissariat and Mobilization Department.
At that time, the "Podolye" team was at a training camp preparing for the new season in the First League. Korokhov played several test matches and signed a contract with the team until the end of the season. However, he was unable to debut in an official match in the "Podolye" squad. His name was not included in the application for participation in the first round of the First League against UCSA.
Korokhov is a graduate of Zaporozhye's "Metallurg" club. At the youth level, he played for Donetsk's "Shakhtar" and Luhansk's "Zarya".
