The Guba Olympic Complex, where "Imishli," which has earned the right to compete in the Azerbaijan Premier League in the 2025/2026 season, wants to host its home games, will be inspected by the PFL.
This was stated by the executive director of the regional representative Aqshin Mursalov in his statement to "Report".
He stated that they have no other options yet:
"We intend to play at the Guba Olympic Complex. But the stadium has not yet been inspected by the Professional Football League. We have not decided what to do if it is unsuitable. We will play in whichever stadium is suitable, that meets the conditions of the Premier League."
The club official also provided information about the latest situation of the stadium in Imishli:
"Repair work has not yet started at the stadium in Imishli. There must be a lot of changes. The field and the zones for filming must be put in order. The current stadium was built according to the previous rules. I can't say when the repairs will start. This is not a matter for us. We also want to return to our stadium as soon as possible. It is difficult to say anything now."
It should be noted that "Turan Tovuz" will hold its home games at "Azersun Arena", "Kapaz" at the Gabala city stadium, and "Karvan" at the stadium in Shamakhi.
