Former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Čech has announced his separation from his wife Martina after a 26-year relationship.
Lent.az reports that they met in 1999. Four years later, in 2003, they got married.
The couple has two children — a 17-year-old daughter, Adela, and a 16-year-old son, Damian.
"Martina and I are sad to announce that after 26 years together, we are separating. We remain the best of friends and we are immensely proud of our two wonderful children," Čech wrote on social media.
The goalkeeper previously played for "Chmel", "Sparta", "Rennes", "Chelsea", and "Arsenal".
