- You won against "Imishli" in the first round of the season. How would you comment on the match?
- It was a difficult game. We had the advantage for 90 minutes. However, we couldn't find a way to the opponent's goal. Fortunately, we achieved what we wanted in the end and won.
- You made your debut in the Azerbaijani championship in the first round. New team, new environment – have you fully adapted yet?
- I need some time. I have met everyone. I have memorized the names of the players. Yes, it is a new team for me, I am in a new country. There are no problems with adaptation. Overall, everything is great at "Turan Tovuz."
- How do you assess the competition in your position?
- Competition is part of our profession. It is only in this case that you can develop.
- How did your transfer to "Turan Tovuz" go? How much did the Kurban Berdyev factor play a role in the transfer?
- My agent informed me that there was such an offer, "Turan Tovuz" was interested in me. The negotiations were successful, and the transfer took place. As for Kurban Berdyev, of course, I know him. He is a very good, experienced specialist.
- "Turan Tovuz"'s goal is to win the championship. How realistic is this?
- We are currently thinking about the next game, not the championship. We want to improve from match to match. Our goal is to win every match. We will count the points at the end of the season.
- What information do you have about Azerbaijani football?
- Everyone knows the strength of "Qarabag." This team is quite well known. But I have not followed the Azerbaijani championship much before. It's a new championship for me.
- Some legionnaires think that they will play "with one foot" when they come to Azerbaijan...
- No, it is definitely not going to be easy. Moreover, there is no limit on legionnaires this season. For this reason, a lot of good players have come. Even in the first round, our game with the newly promoted team to the championship was very difficult. This is an indicator of the competition in the championship.
- Your team will not play its matches at its home stadium for a while. To what extent will this factor affect your performance?
- Of course, if the team's name is "Turan Tovuz," it is better to play its matches in Tovuz. The fans are our advantage. But there is nothing to be afraid of. This is temporary. Moreover, we have loyal fans and they support us on the road as well. Just like in the match with "Imishli."
