Nigar Mirzaliyeva: "German football is more developed than Russian football"

Nigar Mirzaliyeva, who wears the Hamburg uniform, gave an interview to Sport24.az.

- Our national team defeated North Macedonia in the first game. How would you comment on the game?
- As a team, we are very happy that we won the first game. The atmosphere in the team is at a high level. Our goal was to take 3 points, and we achieved that.

- The next game is against Hungary on March 7. Your expectations...
- We are preparing for the game against the Hungarian national team. We want to get the maximum result there, and I believe that we will be able to return from the away game with 3 points.

- Do you believe that you will be the group leader?
- That's exactly what we are working for. Our main desire is to be the group leader.

- How is legionnaire life in Germany going?
- Legionnaire life in Germany is going well. Football is very popular there, almost every game the stands are full of fans, and this gives us extra motivation. Football has developed a lot in Germany. Playing in such a high-paced and developed football environment is a great experience for me. My goal is to play in better clubs.

- What are the differences with Russia?
- There are many talented football players from the world's strongest countries playing in Germany, and playing against them is a great experience. That's the difference. It is difficult to say about Russia. The championship in Russia is also good enough, but not at the level of Germany.
