The press service of the “Atalanta” club announced the appointment of Raffaele Palladino as the head coach of the main team.
Idman.Biz reports that Palladino's contract runs until the end of June 2027.
Palladino coached Fiorentina last season but left the team in the summer after disagreements with the club's management. The Bergamo team has scored only six points in the last eight games in the Italian top division, losing to Udinese (0:1) and Sassuolo (0:3) and drawing six times.
After 11 games in Serie A, Atalanta is in 13th place in the standings with 13 points. In their next match, the Bergamo team will play against Napoli away.
