The main candidate for the position of head coach of the Serbian national team has been determined. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by the country's "MaxBet Sport" publication.
According to the source, the Serbian Football Association has decided to entrust the team to Velko Paunović, who previously coached Chicago Fire in MLS and Oviedo in Spain.
It should be noted that the former head coach of the national team, Dragan Stojković, resigned in early October after the DCh-2026 qualifying match against Albania, which they lost at home (0:1).
