Former head coach of "Turan" Naci Şensoy has made a post regarding the Azerbaijan-Ukraine match held in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.
Sport24.az reports that the 67-year-old specialist wrote about this on his social media account.
He also addressed AFFA:
"I congratulate my former football player from "Turan", Aykhan Abbasov. I have a piece of advice for AFFA. They should not embark on a new foreign adventure. They should believe in Aykhan and support him until the end."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team drew with Ukraine 1-1 under the leadership of interim head coach Aykhan Abbasov. On September 5, under the tenure of the Portuguese specialist, the team lost to Iceland 5-0 away.
