The striker shared his thoughts on the game against Saint Lucia (6:1) in the "FIFA Series – 2026" international tournament:
"We are happy. The national team is such that every victory is important, regardless of who the opponent is. It was also a high-scoring victory. It was very important for us."
Gurbanli also spoke about ending the team's winless streak:
"We really wanted to win. It was important. That's why we are happy. It was an interesting and high-scoring game. These were necessary for official matches."
The player, who distinguished himself in the match, said that he always tries to play better:
