Russian coach Murad Musaev stated that he is proud of his work at the Azerbaijani club "Sabah."
Idman.biz reports that the specialist, who led "Krasnodar" to its first Russian championship in history, also spoke about his activities in our country.
In an interview with "Sport-Express," Musaev recalled his work at "Sabah" as follows: "When we went to Azerbaijan, we started trying many new things there, there were fresh ideas, emotions, excellent results. I am proud of my work at the club, which was new at the time. Now it is a club that will be considered big in the country. After winning the national cup with Vasili Berezutski, they will participate in European cups for the third time.
At that time, "Sabah" was last in the tournament table, and at the end of the season we took fifth place. In the next season, playing beautiful football with hybrid schemes, we already became silver medalists. It was necessary to go through all this - difficulties, doubts. Returning to 'Krasnodar' was not easy either. It was important to go through all these stages to achieve success."
