Morocco defeated the Comoros national team in the opening match of the Africa Cup of Nations - 2025.
Idman.Biz reports that the match held in Rabat, at the Prince Bin Fahd Stadium, ended with a 2:0 victory for Morocco.
Soufiane Rahimi's goal in the 11th minute of the match was not recorded by the referee. The score was opened in the second half. In the 55th minute, "Real Madrid" striker Brahim Dias put Morocco ahead. In the 74th minute, Ayub El-Kaabi scored, setting the final score of the match.
It should be noted that in Group A, along with Morocco and the Comoros, the national teams of Mali and Zambia are also competing.
The Africa Cup of Nations – 2025 is being held in Morocco. 24 national teams divided into six groups are participating in the tournament. The competition will last until January 18. The last winner of the tournament is the Côte d'Ivoire national team.
