"Many clubs were interested in me."
İdman.biz reports that this was said by Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe, speaking about the clubs that approached him when he played for Monaco.
The star footballer emphasized that several German clubs showed interest in him: "When I was a little younger, Bayern approached me, I could have left Monaco. Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig also contacted me. These are the only three clubs I remember. There may have been other teams, but I don't remember."
It should be noted that the forward played for Monaco from 2013–2017, and then transferred to PSG. He initially moved to the Paris club on loan, and a year later he signed a full contract. In the summer of 2024, the French striker joined Real as a free agent.
