In the game held in Belo Horizonte, "Cruzeiro" won 1:0 with a goal from Kaio Jorge, becoming the champion of the state of Minas Gerais. In the final minutes of the game, the intervention of "Atletico Mineiro" goalkeeper Everson resulted in a mass brawl. During the incident, both security personnel and military police intervened in the game.
As a result, 12 players from "Cruzeiro" and 11 players from "Atletico Mineiro" received red cards.
It should be noted that after the victory in the final, "Cruzeiro" lifted the Mineiro championship cup above its head for the 39th time in its history.
