Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli has apologized to Liverpool defender Conor Bradley for his actions in the Premier League match between Liverpool and Arsenal (0-0) in the 21st round. Sport24.az reports that he shared this on his social media account:
"I texted Conor. I apologized to him. I didn't realize he was seriously injured at that moment. I want to say that I am very sorry for my reaction. I wish Conor a speedy recovery."
It should be noted that the incident occurred in added time of yesterday's match. Bradley fell awkwardly after hitting the ball. Martinelli tried to move him off the field. These actions angered Liverpool players and caused a small fight. Bradley left the field with crutches.
