"Ajax" is considering the return of Mark Overmars as technical director. Sport24.az reports that this was shared by "SoccerNew."
After a 0:3 defeat to Galatasaray in the Champions League, John Heitinga was sacked as head coach, followed by technical director Alex Cruz deciding to leave the club. However, the club management wanted him to continue his work until they found a replacement.
It should be noted that Overmars worked as Football Director at "Ajax" from July 2012 to February 2022. He was forced to leave the club in February 2022 after a scandal involving sending indecent pictures to women.
