Azerbaijan national team footballer Mahir Emreli is having difficulty getting into the squad at the German club "Kaiserslautern". Sport24.az reports that the country's famous "Bild" publication has published a new article about the events between the II Bundesliga representative and the 28-year-old striker.
It was emphasized that the forward still hasn't gained the trust of the head coach:
"The Azerbaijani player has only appeared in three matches. He last participated in the match against "Elversberg" on August 22. Emreli has not been included in the squad since then. Even the footballer's post after returning from the national team's training camp was not liked by the club management. Mahir wrote that it was a difficult time for him and that everything was not going as he wanted. He emphasized that he did not play for reasons beyond his control."
Head coach Torsten Lieberknecht also did not like this post. The "Bild" publication even noted that Emreli created a number of problems during his time playing for "Nuremberg" last season.
It should be noted that "Kaiserslautern" will face "Nuremberg" in the II Bundesliga on October 26. Mahir Emreli did not participate in the team's last training session due to a health problem.
