The head coach of the Spanish national team, Luis de la Fuente, has commented on the awarding of the "Ballon d'Or" this year. Sport24.az, referring to "Marca", reports that the expert was asked about the chances of Barcelona and Spain national team players Pedri and Lamin Yamal:
"I would like the award to be given to a Spanish footballer. They are both very good. I have a special affection for them. Because they both debuted under my leadership: Lamin in the main national team, and Pedri in the youth team."
It should be noted that Yamal participated in 55 matches in all tournaments last season, scored 18 goals and made 25 assists. Pedri appeared in 59 matches, scored 6 goals and made 8 assists.
