Mexican women's national team footballer Lizbeth Ovalle has transferred from her country's club "Tigres" to the American representative "Orlando Pride" for a record amount.
"Report", citing the "BBC", reports that the transfer fee amounted to $1.5 million, making it the most expensive transfer in women's football history.
The previous record was set in July when Canadian Olivia Smith moved from Liverpool to Arsenal (both England) for $1.3 million.
