The English club Liverpool has started negotiations for a new contract with Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.
Idman.Biz reports that the club is interested in keeping the 25-year-old footballer, who has attracted interest from several leading clubs.
According to reports, Liverpool intends to offer him a long-term contract with improved terms in order not to lose its key player. Szoboszlai has stated that he is ready to stay at the club, but noted that the new contract should be significantly more profitable than his current one.
This season, Szoboszlai has played in 23 matches for Liverpool, scoring five goals and providing four assists. His current contract with the club runs until 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 85 million euros.
