"Alexander Isak underwent successful surgery today after suffering an injury on Saturday. The Liverpool striker suffered an injury in a collision while trying to score the opening goal in the match against Tottenham and was forced to leave the field.
Following diagnosis, he underwent surgery today for an ankle injury, including a fibula fracture. Isak's rehabilitation will continue at the club's training center. His return date has not yet been determined," the press service said in a statement published on Liverpool's official website.
