"Lill" club has released a statement regarding the offensive and racist behavior of its fans during the Europa League 4th round match against "Crvena Zvezda" and the Ligue 1 12th round match against "Strasbourg".
Idman.Biz reports that both matches resulted in a defeat for "Lill".
"Lill" football club strongly condemns the unacceptable behavior, abusive language, and racist insults perpetrated by certain individuals in the away sector during the matches in Belgrade and Strasbourg last Thursday and Sunday. These actions are unacceptable and completely contrary to the values that the club has always supported and promoted.
Despite numerous awareness and prevention initiatives implemented by the team to combat all forms of discrimination, some individuals deliberately use away games to capture the football atmosphere and express their hatred. The process of identifying those involved in these incidents is ongoing, and several complaints are planned with the police. "Lill" intends to bring them to justice and apply appropriate sanctions," the statement published on the club's official website reads.
