Barcelona president Joan Laporta has touched on the Catalan club's conflict with Real Madrid ahead of the Spanish Super Cup final.
Idman.Biz reports that Laporta had previously given a humorous response to Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez's comments regarding the "Negreira case".
"Relations with Real Madrid are bad, damaged. There are several issues that separate us. While we are already irreconcilable and eternal rivals, the situation is now very bad. This does not mean that there is no respect, this respect must be maintained in a civilized manner, but relations are completely broken. As in life, everything can be resolved in football, but it depends on the will of the parties, and currently, a number of cases have come together that have caused the breakdown of relations," Sport.es quotes Laporta as saying.
