Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has been named La Liga Player of the Month for the second consecutive time.
According to Idman.Biz, the Catalan club announced the award on its X social media account. The 18-year-old footballer had previously won the award for November and has now repeated this success in December.
Last month, Barcelona won five league games, defeating Atletico Madrid (3:1), Betis (5:3), Osasuna (2:0), Villarreal (2:0), and Espanyol (2:0). Yamal scored two goals in these matches.
Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe was named La Liga Player of the Month in September and October. This season, Lamine Yamal has made 22 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona, scoring 9 goals and providing 9 assists.
