Defender Kalidou Koulibaly commented on Senegal's victory (3:1) in the friendly match against England. Sport24.az reports that he told the BBC about it:
"It was a great night! We believed that we would achieve a successful result in this match. We are not used to great historical moments. But we experienced it once in the final of the African Cup of Nations in 2021. Today we relived those moments and made our fans live them. We are trying to develop Senegal and show the world that we are a worthy nation."
It should be noted that the Senegalese national team became the first African team to defeat England in history. Before that, the England national team won 15 times and drew 6 times in matches against African national teams.
