"I had one of the best games in my career." These words were said by Qarabag football player Kevin Medina in an interview with Sport24.az.
The defender spoke about the first leg of the UEFA Champions League main stage, in which they defeated Benfica in Portugal:
"I am happy that we won. We performed well enough against a team like Benfica. The competition in the UEFA Champions League is completely different. The result we achieved is a source of pride."
It should be noted that Qarabag defeated their opponent 3:2 in Lisbon. The Azerbaijani champion will host the Danish team Copenhagen in Baku on October 1.
