Kazakhstan has lost its chance to qualify for the 2026 World Cup after a 1-1 draw with North Macedonia.
Idman.Biz reports that after seven qualifying matches, Kazakhstan is fourth out of five in Group J with seven points. The leaders of this group are Belgium (14) and North Macedonia (13).
In the qualifying stage, Kazakhstan lost to Wales (1:3), defeated Liechtenstein (2:0), lost to North Macedonia (0:1), Wales (0:1) and Belgium (0:6), defeated Liechtenstein again (4:0), and drew with North Macedonia (1:1).
In the final qualifying match on November 15, Kazakhstan will host Belgium.
