Interview of Karim Rossi, the new transfer of "Shamakhi", to Futbolinfo.az
– When did you accept the offer from "Shamakhi" and how did you make this decision?
– After receiving the offer, I took a week to decide. During this time, I consulted with my family and evaluated everything. Then I spoke with the head coach and made my decision and agreed to come to "Shamakhi".
– Before coming to Azerbaijan, what did you know about the country? Did you know any football players here?
– I had prior information about Azerbaijan, especially thanks to "Qarabağ". In addition, last season I received an offer from another Azerbaijani club. Therefore, I had some idea about the football environment here.
– What is your main goal with "Shamakhi"? Do you think you will be successful in Azerbaijan?
– My main goal here is to score as many goals as possible and help the team achieve better results than last season. I hope I will be lucky in Azerbaijan and we will have a successful season as a team.
– Have you watched the Eurocup games of Azerbaijani clubs? What are your thoughts about them?
– Yes, I have watched all the games of Azerbaijani teams playing in the Eurocups. I like their style of play, they demonstrate good football and I think they deserve to go further. Especially the game of "Araz-Nakhchivan" against "Aris" was very impressive.
– You played in Cyprus before and today the Cypriot club "Omonia" will face "Araz-Nakhchivan". What do you think about this game?
– "Omonia" is the favorite of the pair, but after seeing how "Araz-Nakhchivan" played against "Aris", I think they can also be lucky. If they perform at the same level, they can surprise in this match.
