World champions Christian Karambeu and Marco Materazzi, as well as Martin Dahlin, who won a bronze medal with the Swedish national team at the 1994 World Cup, have been appointed assistants for the draw of the play-off round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The draw will be held on November 20 and will determine the pairs of teams that will compete for a place in the final stage of the World Cup. The ceremony will be held at FIFA headquarters in Zurich.
The 2026 World Cup will be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
