"Kapaz" club held talks with a foreign specialist before appointing Azer Baghirov as head coach. Sport24.az received this information from a source close to the club.
However, the parties failed to agree on the salary issue. Ukrainian Yuri Maksimov asked for a very high salary from the "yellow-blues".
"Kapaz" management said that they could not pay the head coach this amount and ultimately turned to Azer Baghirov.
It should be noted that the "yellow-blues" have signed a contract with Azer Baghirov until the end of the season.
