"It is necessary to return to the field stronger both physically and psychologically. I believe that I will be able to cope with this stage as well."
Idman.Biz reports that these words were said by the Brazilian football player of "Qarabag" Kadi Borges in an interview with journalists.
The 30-year-old football player appeared in the match against "Turan Tovuz" within the 18th round of the Azerbaijan Premier League, which ended with a score of 1:0, after a three-month break. Touching upon his long absence from the green fields, Kadi Borges called that period difficult:
"The time I spent due to the injury was difficult for me. But this is part of an athlete's life. It is necessary to accept such moments and move forward."
The Brazilian football player also shared his thoughts on the match against the English club "Newcastle" in the play-off stage of the UEFA Champions League:
"I don't think we should focus our attention only on whether we will pass them or not. The main thing is to fight to the end on the field and show the maximum of our capabilities. Whether it works out or not, everything is in God's hands. Because these issues are not under our control."
It should be noted that "Qarabag" will host "Newcastle" on February 18 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium in Baku. The return match between the parties will be held a week later in England at the St. James' Park arena.
