Sporting midfielder Morten Hjulmand has caught the attention of Juventus. Sport24.az reports that Tuttosport has reported this.
The Turin representative is considering "tying" the 25-year-old football player to its colors this summer. Juventus head coach Igor Tudor highly appreciates the versatile playing style of the Lisbon club captain. Preliminary negotiations have already been held with the player's agents. The Italians are ready to offer the midfielder a 5-year contract with a salary of 3.3 million euros, which is twice his current salary.
However, the main obstacle to the transfer is Hjulmand's price. The Lisbon representative values him at 70 million euros. Juventus, on the other hand, plans to start negotiations in the initial stage with an offer of 35 million euros and a percentage of future sales. Manchester United had previously shown interest in Hjulmand.
It should be noted that the member of the Danish national team participated in 49 games in Sporting's squad in the last season, scoring 4 goals and 4 assists.
