"I wanted to try myself in a Turkish club. That's why I chose 'Gaziantep'." These words were said by Joshguna Aliyeva, a football player of the Azerbaijani women's national team, who was transferred from "Neftchi" to the Turkish representative "Gaziantep", in an interview with Sport24.az.
The 23-year-old midfielder shared her thoughts on the transfer to her new team:
"The team has a great chance of becoming the champion in the League. I had no offers from other clubs. A Turkish club contacted me, and I positively evaluated the offer. I have lived the life of a legionnaire in this country before. I will not have a problem adapting to the championship. Therefore, it was not so difficult to make a choice. I will try to help the new team achieve its goals. I also want to experience the joy of winning the championship with the team."
It should be noted that Joshguna Aliyeva, who last played for "Neftchi", also wore the uniforms of "Karadeniz Ereğli Belediyespor" and "Keçiburnuspor" in the brother country during her career.
