Ghana national team head coach Otto Addo has been dismissed.
According to Report, citing the official website of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the organization has decided to part ways with the 50-year-old specialist.
The reason for the resignation was the team's unsuccessful performance in March. The Ghanaians lost to Austria 1:5 and to Germany 1:2 in friendly matches. In total, the team has suffered defeats in four consecutive matches.
It should be noted that Addo, who has been in charge of the team since March 2024, lost his job 10 weeks before the World Cup next year. The Ghana national team will face Croatia, England and Panama in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico.
